We just finished another great week at Mountain Heritage Academy!
The Veteran’s Day presentation conducted by Brother Moore was excellent. Thanks Brother Moore!
And now for announcements.
Our service project is Saturday the 13th. We are meeting at 1528 West 4470 South. Students should be there at 9:30 am and plan to stay until 11:00 am. They can stay a little longer and enjoy some chile and rolls if they desire. Our project is to clean up some yards for some nice older ladies who are no longer able to do it all themselves.
On Wednesday the 17th after school, the Love Sac corporation will be filming a commercial here in our building. Our drama teacher, Drew Keddington, has arranged this. Any students in the 8th grade and up will be able to participate and be in the television commercial. We have been allowing students to sign up. Any student who wishes to participate should bring a change of clothes on Wednesday. The clothing they wear in the commercial should be modest, and should not have any large logos or slogans that would be visible. Watch for permission slips.
Remember that weight lifting is held every Monday and Friday right after school. The trainer has said that he will work with students of all ages and abilities.

The South Pointe Ballet will be performing Sleeping Beauty here in our multi-purpose room on the 18th, 19th, and 20th. Each evening performance is at 7:00 pm, and there is a matinee performance as well on the 20th at 2:00 pm. If you pre-pay, tickets are only $2.00 instead of $5.00.
